Dubai Investments host over 100 officials in Glass and Glazing Federation Forum

 

Dubai, December 7, 2017: Dubai Investments PJSC [DFM: DIC], the leading, diversified investments company listed on Dubai Financial Market, hosted over 100 officials in the International Architectural Glass Conference, held under the aegis of Glass and Glazing Federation [GGF] in Dubai today, through its subsidiary Emirates Glass LLC – one of the largest processors of flat architectural glass in the region.

The one-day conference, held at Dubai Investments headquarters in Dubai Investments Park [DIP], focused on different aspects of the architectural glass sector, and included presentations by experts from leading international glass companies and related industries.

The international panel of speakers included John Reeves, Chairman of GGF MENA, Phillip Higgins from Gulf Extrusions, Sami Daher from Dow Corning Corporation, Pascoal De Silva from Gulf Glass Industries, Mohammed Soghbor from Kurary GmbH, Dr Andreas Kasper from Saint-Gobain Middle East, Jonathan Hernandez from Thomas Bell-Wright International Consultants and Benoit Georges from Saint-Gobain.

Company unveils five new coatings, with plans to
unveil low thermal transmission glass products

Dubai, May 9, 2017: Emirates Glass LLC, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC and one of the largest processors of flat architectural glass in the region, has announced that it has achieved strong results in 2016 compared to 2015 with profits exceeding all previous records, reinforcing its growing reputation and market share in the region.

Emirates Glass also announced that it currently has projects worth AED 110 million on hand, and is executing more than AED 60 million worth of contracts in GCC countries alone.

As a step to achieve the projected growth trajectory, Emirates Glass has announced the launch of five new coatings, including Emicool Superlite Temperable High Performance Coatings, with plans to unveil super low thermal transmission glass products as well as a new insulating glass manufacturing facility in the Gulf. This is part of Emirates Glass’ commitment to produce high performance, eco-friendly glass which significantly reduce energy costs in installations.

Dubai Investments and Emirates Glass host over 100 industry officials in MENA Forum

Glass and Glazing Federation conference focuses on latest technologies, trends

Dubai, October 22, 2016: Dubai Investments PJSC [DFM: DIC], the leading, diversified investment company listed on the Dubai Financial Market, and its glass subsidiary Emirates Glass LLC – one of the largest processors of flat architectural glass in the region, hosted the annual Glass and Glazing Federation [GGF] MENA Technical Forum in Dubai on Thursday.

The one-day forum, held at Dubai Investments headquarters in Dubai Investments Park, focused on latest glass processing techniques, the international standards on glass specifications, fire glazing and regulations in the UAE, use of sealants, installation of laminated glass and structural interlayers, among others, presented by specialists and experts from leading glass companies and related industries.
